Shipping and Returns

Shipping Charges:

Products shipped outside of the United States may incur the following additional charges:

1.      Charges for investigation to ensure the product are in a clean and safe shipment.

2.      Additional duties. Payment in full is expected on these charges. All payment policies are applicable.

 

Shipping SCHEDULES:

Holiday Lighting, Inc. is currently shipping Monday thru Friday. Sam day shipping applies to all shipments placed before 2 p.m. EST.

·         Tracking numbers are emailed when orders are processed

·         Fragile stickers are applied to all shipments containing glass

·         Shipping discounts apply to all combined shipments

 

Freight Claims:

All claims for merchandise delayed, lost or damaged in transit are the responsibility of the consignee. All merchandise is carefully inspected before packing and is packed in an approved manner in approved cartons. When accepting shipments, any missing cartons or visible damage must be reported with respect to the delivering carrier's policy. All claims must be filed with the delivering carrier. Failure to properly file claims may mean refusal of the claim and subsequent loss to the consignee.

 

INCOMPLETE ORDERS:

Incomplete orders must be reported immediately upon receipt of goods. It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide proof of missing goods and notify Holiday Lighting, Inc.

 

DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE POLICY:

This policy is extended to the original buyer (under normal conditions of use and service) when authorized by Holiday Lighting, Inc. from original date of purchase, and once full payment has been received per the terms of the sales agreement. Holiday Lighting, Inc.'s obligation under this policy is limited to repairing or replacing, at its option, any part or product found to be defective. The policy does not cover maintenance of decorations, labor to install, cost of shipping, electrical surges or damage caused by the customer, installer or any other party. Rough handling or vibration in transit may also cause damage. This is the responsibility of the consignee. Therefore, it is recommended that all products are inspected and tested upon receipt and prior to installation. It is recommended that any defects are reported immediately. Claims with Holiday Lighting, Inc. must be made within 5 days of receipt of goods.

 

DELIVERY DATES:

In-stock delivery is same day shipping on all orders received before 2:00 pm EST.  Properly placed orders can be tracked Via Quantum View. Once the order is placed and ready to ship, Quantum View will notify the purchaser on the status of the shipment. The purchaser can check the status and location of each package shipped.

Out-of-stock delivery dates vary pending manufacturing schedules, points of origin, and shipping constraints.

 

GUARANTEES:

Holiday Lighting, Inc. will do its best to service its clients. However, due to the variables beyond our control Holiday Lighting, Inc. cannot guarantee repair, replacements or shipment dates.

 

EXCHANGES / CANCELLATIONS:

Exchanges will be made for unused and defective merchandise only. Holiday Lighting, Inc. reserves the right to determine if merchandise is unused or Defective.

Exchanges must be made within 7 days of receipt of goods. A 20% restocking fee of the original purchase will apply to all exchanges made without exchange for goods of equal or higher value. Additional charges may be assessed for Shipping on exchanged or returned goods. SHIPPING WILL BE INCURRED BY THE PURCHASER for all returned product(s) and exchanges.

Cancellations are subject to consent by Holiday Lighting, Inc. A 20% restocking fee will apply. Additional charges may be assessed for shipping charges on Cancellations.

Cancellations are not acceptable for custom or special orders.
